This post may not be all that late, but: I made mention of it the other day, but I’ve been pretty busy this weekpreparing for the SABR conference on Thursday, and the Tater Trot Tracker posts are going to be late because of it. The posts will be brief, as well.
Home Run of the Day: Adam Dunn, Washington Nationals (Trot Time: 23.57 seconds) [video]
Anyone who doesn’t like Adam Dunn is just crazy.

Slowest Trot: Casey McGehee, Milwaukee Brewers – 25.25 seconds [video]
The Brewers score 18 runs in Wrigley, but this was the only home run of the game. Nice to see Casey contribute again.
Quickest Trot: Chris Heisey, Cincinnati Reds – 15.14 seconds [video]
Considering just how fast he runs on his regular home runs, there probably aren’t very many guys in the league who’d you want to let a ball slip past you on a missed dive less than Chris Heisey. As you can imagine, when Andrew McCutchen missed the ball after laying out for it in left-centerfield, Heisey made him pay with an inside-the-park home run (our 15th of the year).
