Trot Times for April 14, 2015

Not a lot of time this morning, so let’s get right to the trots!

Home Run of the Day: Jose Abreu, Chicago White Sox – 21.82 seconds [video]
When you don’t know who to give the Home Run of the Day to, just pick Jose Abreu. You’ll never be wrong.

Slowest Trot: Welington Castillo, Chicago Cubs – 24.74 seconds [video]
There wasn’t a wide range of trot times Tuesday night. This 24.74 second trot wouldn’t even be noticed most nights, but Castillo had the misfortune of earning his the night everyone else was just a bit faster.

Quickest Trot: Chase Utley #1, Philadelphia Phillies – 19.25 seconds [video]
Utley edges out Boston’s Dustin Pedroia (19.31 seconds) for the night’s quickest trot. No other trotter clocked in under 20 seconds.
