Trot Times for June 2, 2014

A short day for games means a short day for home runs. Let’s get right to the trots!

Home Run of the Day: Jose Abreu, Chicago White Sox – 23.63 seconds [video]
No big deal. Just hitting a home run off of Clayton Kershaw in Dodger Stadium in his first game back from the disabled list. Abreu is one heck of a rookie.

Slowest Trot: Mark Reynolds, Milwaukee Brewers – 24.12 seconds [video]
Twenty-four seconds is nothing for a tater trot, but someone has to be slowest of the day.

Quickest Trot: Xander Bogaerts, Boston Red Sox – 19.72 seconds [video]
And somebody has to be quickest. At least Bogaerts was good enough to give us a sub-20 second trot as the fastest of the day.
