Trot Times for April 11, 2014

Just a quick update this Saturday afternoon (and mostly because of what happened in San Francisco).

Let’s get to the trots!

Home Run of the Day: Madison Bumgarner, San Francisco Giants – 23.68 seconds [video]
I’m always excited when a pitcher hits a home run. But when it’s a grand slam? That’s the kind of thing you run down the street screaming about!

Earlier in this same game, Colorado’s Carlos Gonzalez splashed one into McCovey Cove. What a night in the Bay!

Slowest Trot: Welington Castillo, Chicago Cubs – 25.65 seconds [video]
Castillo beats out Ryan Zimmerman (24.96 seconds) and Adrian Gonzalez (24.84 seconds) for the day’s slowest trot.

Quickest Trot: Brad Miller, Seattle Mariners – 18.31 seconds [video]
One of only two trots to clock in under 20 seconds.
