In Oakland, Stephen Vogt finally managed his first career hit after an 0-for-32 start to his career. It just happened to find it's way over the fence. He sped home in 18.86 seconds. I'm surprised it was faster.
Slowest Trot: Ryan Raburn, Cleveland Indians – 24.62 seconds [video]
Only one small contribution to the Indians 19-10 victory over the White Sox in game one of their doubleheader. Raburn barely edges out Dioner Navarro (24.58 seconds) for the slowest trot of the day.
Quickest Trot: John Mayberry, Philadelphia Phillies – 18.0 seconds [video]
For the second day in a row, a Phillie has the quickest trot of the day. On Thursday, Chase Utley took the crown with his ~17.5 second trot. For Utley, he had no idea that the ball was over the fence until after rounding third base. He slowed down only a tad as he approached the umpire at home plate, still unsure (or a bit miffed) over the whole thing. See the trot.
