Trot Times for June 26, 2013

The Red Sox are playing their 81st game of the year today, officially marking us at the middle of the season. How in the world did that happen?

Let's get to the trots!

Home Run of the Day: Raul Ibanez, Seattle Mariners – 20.04 seconds [video]
The 18th home run of the year for 41-year-old Raul Ibanez. Is there anything more surprising than that?

Slowest Trot: Josh Donaldson, Oakland Athletics – 23.82 seconds [video]
Some very bad luck for Donaldson. With 27 home runs on the day, it's amazing that the slowest trot of the day was quicker than 24 seconds. That's not something that happens all too often.

Quickest Trot: Mike Trout, Los Angeles Angels – 19.63 seconds [video]
On the other hand, this was one of only two trots to clock in quicker than 20 seconds. So maybe the day wasn't quick so much as it was "not slow." Washington's Tyler Moore, fresh off the disabled list, was Trout's partner in the sub-20 second club.
