Well, it's not exactly the first "half," but we find ourselves at the All-Star break nonetheless. And though things haven't been quite as exciting on the basepaths this year (especially in the inside-the-park category), there have been a number of notable trotters to fill the time.
Listed below are the ten quickest and ten slowest trotters of the year (minimum: three trots). As always, trots that were not continuous (ie, the runner stopped somewhere on the bases, if even just for a second) and trots that do not show the player touching home plate (from any of the numerous camera angles available) were not counted.
